Associate Director, Training Lead
Location: Barcelona, Spain (on-site) 3 days working from the office.
The Training Lead for the RIM systems will be responsible for developing the system release training plans, project managing training deliverables and ensuring technical changes are interpreted for the business users, so they are trained and compliant to work with the system functionality. This role also involves creating and updating various types of training deliverables, as well as coordinating and providing system demonstrations to users.
Typical Accountabilities
- Impact assesses system changes against the vast training deliverables to determine if updates/new materials are required in readiness for the implementation of system releases.
- Create or update training deliverables to ensure they are comprehensive, accurate, innovative and user-friendly.
- Track the status of all materials to ensure correct versions are published and accessible to users.
- Work collaboratively with the Training Team to resource, plan and deliver the training deliverables required for a planned system release.
- Review and approve all training materials to ensure standards are adhered to and consistency achieved.
- Represent the Training Team on the Change Review Board and Release Planning Meetings to feedback on the training impact of planned configuration changes, and agree the scope for planned system releases.
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative training methods (virtually or in person) to meet different training needs and learning styles.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Process Leads, IT, and other departments to understand the new system functionality so that it can be translated for business users.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on the training strategy, plans and gather feedback.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of training deliverables.
- Implement improvements based on evaluation results to enhance training outcomes.
Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with experience leading a team of direct or indirect reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management, organisation and time management capabilities
- Experience in creating and delivering innovative training sessions (preferably in an enterprise system environment).
- Strong verbal and written use of the English language
- Ability to adapt training methods to suit different learning styles and levels of technical proficiency.
Desirable:
- Experience with eLearning platforms and tools, for example Articulate 360, Learning Management Systems, JIRA, SharePoint, Synthasia or other AI tools
- Strong skills in use of Microsoft applications i.e. WORD, PowerPoint, Excel
- Ability to analyse, interpret and communicate data to support with decision making and workload management.
- Certification in Training and Development or a related field.
- Familiarity with Veeva Vault or similar enterprise systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
